В связи тем, что в декабре у нас идет курс «Музыка танго», у меня появилось желание вспомнить о самой разной музыке, которая вдохновляла меня танцевать все эти годы, и поделиться ею с вами. Начать хочется с альбома, который когда-то вывел меня за пределы привычного представления о танго-музыке и благодаря которому я понял, что танго бывает очень разным.
Группа «La Chicana» создана в 1995 в Буэнос-Айресе и играет музыку, которую сами ребята называют «танго», и больше того — стараются и в музыке, и в текстах стремиться к тому духу танго, каким оно было при его рождении, но на современный лад. Получается довольно интересно и необычно. Мне кажется, что в их музыке много влияния Северной Америки — кантри и рока в особенности.

У меня есть семь их альбомов, но первый, который я нашел и послушал, — Tango Agazapado 2007-го года — до сих пор остается самым любимым. Помню, как я ходил по Москве, слушая в наушниках их музыку, и мечтал о том, как поеду когда-нибудь в Буэнос-Айрес, как научусь не бояться танцевать, как буду сам ставить музыку на милонгах. Всё это казалось тогда далекой и невероятной мечтой.
Послушайте, они необычные. Совсем не похожи на то, что мы привыкли считать музыкой танго, но очень живые и красивые. Мне в этом альбоме больше прочих нравятся: Una Iguana y Tres Monedas, El Camba, Juguete rabioso, Chamarrita Del Chamán, La Mujer Del Soldado, Y no me Conocés.
